I was meaning to tack on one more little scene, but it'll work just fine on the next page. NOTE: Brendan did not hear any of Robin and Roxanne's convo until he ran up. Should've made it more clear that he wasn't really sure what was going on when he made his insensitive comment.

Roxanne can no more deny Robin a badge after Robin won any more than a test proctor could deny a student their certification even if they were certain the kid just guessed their way to a passing grade. It was set up that way to try and uphold the spirit of Pokemon training: the win conditions are clear and obvious, so that as long as you have the skill, you can advance. Poor or disadvantaged trainers can pass through gyms fairly, without fear of being arbitrarily discriminated against with bogus charges of 'not good enough'.

Thanks to Sinnfinity for EXTREME DIALOGUE CONSULTATION it was not even funny how much we harassed this stupid, stupid dialogue.
