So begins a tale of how newbie trainers can be total buttwipes towards Pokemon. Talon looks like he's going to get along with Lassie about as well as he gets along with Robin!

(Guys you can't imagine how happy I am to finally be drawing Lassie and sharing him with you. BEST DOGGIE.)

Since you guys will have to wait several weeks for the in-comic explanation for what's going on at the end, I'll fill you in here: In this world, Pokeballs, when purchased, are registered to the trainer that buys them. Any Pokemon caught in them are thus automatically linked to the trainer and the PC box, etc. In addition, the Pokeballs are used to track when trainers do things like heal their Pokemon or catch too many Pokemon per route.

What this means is that it's a bad idea to give away your Pokeballs unless you've already re-registered them to the other person... or you trust that the other person is going to re-register them on their own. Who knows what kind of havoc they could wreak in your name.
