Just had to do a semirealistic take on the new starters of gen 7. These pictures represent my upper limit right now when it comes to realistic rendering, both in terms of skill and patience. Pretty humbling to admit that, but I'm still very happy with the results.
I'm pretty proud of my idea to give Popplio orca-esque eye patches instead of tarsier eyeballs! Also, Popplio's neck ruff is modeled after fox coral, because aquatic Pokemon and all.
Feel free to use these images for personal use - avatars, blog layouts, printing out for personal stickers/shirts/etc... just don't use them for profit and I should be okay with it! Please credit me when asked and do not repost these on Tumblr or DeviantArt with or without attribution - reblog or favorite my original posts instead.
