When catching Bristle 2.0, I used poison to bring down his HP gradually, planning to antidote him immediately after the battle. However, by the time I named him, I totally forgot he was poisoned. I was reminded four steps later when he abruptly fainted.

(The sheer speed of this kill streak has to set some kind of record.)
